Meet the Founder / CEO

Sarah Hunt is the Founder and CEO of Sweet and Sarah. Born and raised in America's Finest City—San Diego, California—she discovered her passion for baking at just eight years old. What began as a childhood hobby quickly grew into a lifelong passion, with years of self-taught practice, recipe development, and countless hours perfecting her craft.

Sarah attended Pepperdine University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science. During her first year of college in 2019, she created the name Sweet and Sarah, planting the seed for what would later become her business. After studying abroad in Europe, interning for the Speaker of the House, and building a career in the financial services industry, she decided to turn her lifelong passion into a business of her own.

While growing Sweet and Sarah, Sarah continues to work full-time in wealth management and is pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Finance at Pepperdine University. Her background in finance, combined with her creativity in the kitchen, reflects her belief that successful businesses are built with both passion and purpose.



By the age of 25, Sarah had baked for members of the U.S. House of Representatives, business executives, and clients celebrating life's most meaningful moments. Her mission is simple: to create beautiful, handcrafted desserts that bring people together and make every celebration a little sweeter. As Sweet and Sarah continues to grow, she looks forward to sharing her passion with even more people—one dessert at a time.
